The only one of its kind in Wallonia, the Musée du Scoutisme International opened its doors on Saturday 1 May 2004. The museum aims to be a "living" museum and thus a real "educational tool" for young people, as well as a place of remembrance for the old.
The old cloth factory in Esch-sur-Sûre was converted into the Nature Park centre in 1992 and has since accommodated the Park’s reception centre along with a tourist information office, a regional products shop, the cloth factory museum and an interactive exhibition on the Nature Park. Temporary textile exhibitions also take place here at regular intervals.
